Welcome to my website! I am the author of Kings of Infinite Space, The Lecturer's Tale, Publish and Perish, and The Wild Colonial Boy, and my reviews and essays have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Boston Review, Salon, and other places. Years ago, I also used to write about television for the Michigan Voice, In These Times, and Mother Jones. My new novel, Next, will be published in March of 2010 by Reagan Arthur Books.
