My Life with Conrad 12/04/2007
Since I was 10, Joseph Conrad has been my favorite writer. Yesterday was his 150th birthday. Comments12/07/2007 11:40
Mr. Hynes, I am so grateful to have an opportunity to communicate with you, as I am a dedicated fan of your work. I have written 2 reviews of your work on my blog, www.jazzzytina.com, which is part of a larger blog for artists and writers called Blogsboro, out of Greensboro, North Carolina. My fiance has also read your work, is an author himself, and would like to respectfully request an interview with you for Blogsboro. If you would be so inclined, would you communicate with me via email? We are eagerly awaiting your next novel.

Thanks for your comments, Tina; I admire your persistence. And thanks especially for the kind words about my books on your blog. Best of luck to you and your fiance!

I can't think of any higher tribute than naming your cat after someone. There's just no getting over Conrad. I still have my Signet edition of "The Secret Agent" from high school. Happy birthday, Joe!

Mr. Hynes, wanted to reach out to you again to give you some contact information if you are interested in being interviewed on Blogsboro.com. We have added your site to our blogroll, and in November, we had 37,957 unique readers. My email is jazzzytina@yahoo.com. My fiance, Budd Wilkins, has a site with some excerpts of his work - it is www.buddwilkins.com. Since this is the only way I know to communicate with you, please feel free to delete this post. Thank you again.
